Would You Go Explore a New Unknown World?

In 2020, me and some other astronaut were asked to go explore a new world in space. I think if i didn't have kids and wasn't married i would go. For one i would go because i love to explore new things. I would especially most definitely love to go and explore a new world. Maybe ill find a new place where human beings can live or already live. Another good thing about it is if we were to find some thing useful like gold or even oil, we would get payed alot of money. But there are some risk that we are taking. For example what if there is no signal out there or no sort of gravity to sustain the ship were in. We could die or get lost int he unknown. I think i would look at all the risks and talk to the group to see if they know all the latitudes and longitudes that we'd be in. But most likely like i said i probably would go just because i love to explore and i would most definitely love to explore a new unknown place out in space.

What modern invention has had as great of an effect on the spread of knowledge in our society as the printing press did on Renaissance society? Why?

The printing press was a big hit in the renaissance society because it helped them make books. The reason they came up with the printing press was because back then it would take a long time to make a book. If you wanted to write a book and sell it, it would probably take you a year to finish the whole thing because back then you had a pen from a chicken or bird and some ink. So they came up with the printing press so every time they would make a book all they had to do was take it to the printing press and make copies of it. Then they would send the books out to different place so people could buy them. Also when they came up with the printing press books got a lot cheaper for everyone to afford. So people started to read and got smarter.

Now a day, the Internet is what exist to us. We use the Internet for a lot of stuff. For example one thing we use the Internet for is to send out emails to people around the world so we can talk to them instantly instead of waiting a month for a letter to arrive. Another thing we use the Internet is for a lot of stuff. Another thing is that with the Internet we can ship orders out and receive. We can also use it to like buy airplane tickets. Back then you had to wait along time to get a letter, now with the Internet all you have to do is make an email account and it is sent electronically.

I agree with the saying “Live everyday as if it were your last” because you never know when your last day might be. Now a day a lot of people are dying for many reasons. Some people are dying from health conditions and others for accidental reasons. Honestly I think that it is good to live your day nice, what if you walk out the door and a bus hits you? What if you had just got into an argument with your family and you couldn’t even say sorry? Honestly I think that it’s better to forgive and live your life, you don’t want to die thinking that you never even said bye. So as I was saying, I would agree on the saying “live everyday as if it were your last” because it is better to stay happy your last moments than to leave something wrong in the world.
